Privacy, cookies and the scripts on this page — Be a Soccer Manager
This guide loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra advertising by default. Reject turns off all three providers and remembers the choice for 180 days. YouTube loads only when you press play. Cloudflare is the planned hosting and delivery provider. Write to [email protected] for a privacy request.
What I checked
Checked 29 October 2026: the site's analytics configuration, script loaders, localStorage controls, video player and Adsterra placement record. Provider descriptions below come from each provider's own documentation and are labeled as single source. Documented cookies are distinguished from a browser inventory; unverified storage names and lifetimes are left blank in the table.
What loads, and when
On a visit without a current rejection record or browser rejection signal, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra start before you press Accept. Accept keeps them enabled. Reject records denial in basm.consent and reloads the page with all three providers disabled. The record is honoured for 180 days when localStorage is available.
Global Privacy Control and a Do Not Track value of 1 are handled as rejection by this site's loaders. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner so you can change the choice. Requests sent before rejection cannot be recalled.
The configured script hosts are www.googletagmanager.com for GA4, www.clarity.ms for Clarity and bicea.org for both Adsterra units. Providers can make further requests to collection and advertising delivery hosts. These configured hosts are not a complete list of observed browser requests.
Observed in the local build browser audit on 29 October 2026: Google requested www.googletagmanager.com and www.google-analytics.com; Microsoft requested www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and regional collection hosts under *.clarity.ms. Adsterra and its creative delivery requested bicea.org, static.nresystems.com, cdn.storageimagedisplay.com, cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.show-creative1.com and cdn.cloudpiko.com. These analytics and advertising hosts load by default; Reject disables the loaders on the reloaded page. Creative hosts can rotate. No YouTube request was present before play.
A video preview loads the YouTube player only after you press play. Reject controls GA4, Clarity and Adsterra; it does not disable a YouTube player that you choose to open. Hosting and page delivery are also separate from those three controls.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 uses measurement ID G-C4HV3LQ6B7 to measure visits. Page views include the page URL and referrer. Google's enhanced-measurement documentation also describes optional events such as scrolling and outbound clicks; those property settings have not been independently checked here (single source: Google documentation, checked 29 October 2026).
Google documents _ga for distinguishing browsers and _ga_<container-id> for session state. For this measurement ID, the session cookie name is _ga_C4HV3LQ6B7. Google lists a two-year default for both cookies, but property settings and browser limits can change the lifetime. Actual browser expiry and this property's server-side event retention have not been verified (single source: Google documentation, checked 29 October 2026).
The site's default Google Consent Mode values are analytics_storage: granted, ad_storage: denied, ad_user_data: denied and ad_personalization: denied. Pressing Accept updates all four values to granted; Reject updates them to denied and disables the GA4 loader on the reloaded page. These are Google tag settings; they do not control Adsterra or the YouTube player.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity project z540fbaopa is used for interaction analytics, heatmaps and session replay. Microsoft says input boxes and dropdowns are masked in all masking modes; this is a provider description, not a guarantee that every visible part of a page is masked (single source: Microsoft documentation, checked 29 October 2026).
Microsoft documents first-party _clck for the site's Clarity user ID and preferences, and _clsk for joining page views into a session recording. Its documented third-party cookies include CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM. This is the provider's cookie list, not confirmation that every cookie is set in every browser; actual cookie lifetimes are left blank (single source: Microsoft documentation, checked 29 October 2026).
Microsoft lists 30 days for playback data and 9 months for heatmaps, click data and labeled or favorited sessions. These are its published retention periods, not values read from this project's dashboard (single source: Microsoft documentation, checked 29 October 2026). Clarity starts by default; Reject reloads without its tag.
Adsterra advertising
This site uses Adsterra publisher 3403020, website 6159143, with NativeBanner_1 (unit 31979163) in the page and SocialBar_1 (unit 31979164) as a floating bar. Both unit scripts are served from bicea.org. The placement record has adult ads switched off.
Adsterra's privacy policy, effective 29 June 2026, names AD MARKET LIMITED in Cyprus and ADMEDIA LLC FZ in the United Arab Emirates. It describes technical data including IP address, browser and device details, URLs and interactions for its website and services. Its corporate website's cookie table does not establish the cookie names or lifetimes used by these two ad units (single source: Adsterra policy, checked 29 October 2026).
Loading an ad sends requests to the network and its delivery hosts, which receive connection information such as your IP address and browser request headers. Exact storage keys and retention for the units have not been verified and are left blank. Reject disables both units on reload. Close sponsored bar records basm.adsterra_social_closed and suppresses only the Social Bar for 180 days; the Native Banner and analytics remain enabled unless you reject them.
YouTube trailers
Some pages show a locally hosted video preview. Pressing play creates an iframe on www.youtube-nocookie.com and starts playback. The preview itself does not contact YouTube. After play, Google receives the player requests and connection information, including your IP address; the player can make further requests to Google's video delivery services.
YouTube calls this Privacy Enhanced Mode and says embedded views are not used to personalize the viewer's YouTube experience or advertising outside this site; ads shown in this mode are non-personalized. This does not establish that playback creates no browser storage. Cookie names and lifetimes for the player have not been verified and are left blank (single source: YouTube documentation, checked 29 October 2026).
Cloudflare hosting and delivery (planned)
Cloudflare is the planned hosting and delivery provider; its production deployment and log configuration have not been verified as of 29 October 2026. When Cloudflare serves the site, it processes page requests to deliver content and protect the service. Cloudflare's policy describes processing end-user IP addresses, routing and traffic information, and customer logs (single source: Cloudflare policy, checked 29 October 2026).
The domain contact inbox already uses Cloudflare Email Routing and the mail-hub Worker. Emailing [email protected] sends your address and message through that service to the site operator. This email processing is separate from browser analytics and is not controlled by Reject.
Reject controls the three analytics and advertising providers, so page delivery continues. No Cloudflare cookie inventory or access-log retention period is asserted here; those fields remain blank until the deployed configuration is checked.
Site storage and documented provider cookies
The two basm keys are set by this site. GA4 and Clarity cookie names below are documented by their providers; they are not a complete browser inventory. A blank key or lifetime means it has not been verified, not that no data is stored. Browser storage expiry is separate from a provider's server-side retention.
The site treats its localStorage records as current for 180 days from their timestamp. localStorage has no automatic expiry, so an expired record can remain stored until replaced or removed. If localStorage is unavailable, the site cannot reliably remember Reject or the Social Bar close choice across visits.
| Key or record | Provider and location | Purpose | Verified lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| basm.consent | This site / localStorage | Records Accept, Reject or a browser rejection signal, with timestamp | Honoured for 180 days; no automatic storage deletion |
| basm.adsterra_social_closed | This site / localStorage | Remembers that the Social Bar was closed | Honoured for 180 days; no automatic storage deletion |
| _ga | Google / first-party cookie (documented) | Analytics: distinguish browsers | |
| _ga_C4HV3LQ6B7 | Google / first-party cookie for this measurement ID | Analytics: session state | |
| _clck | Microsoft / first-party cookie (documented) | Analytics: Clarity user ID and preferences | |
| _clsk | Microsoft / first-party cookie (documented) | Analytics: join page views into a session | |
| CLID / ANONCHK / MR / MUID / SM | Microsoft / third-party cookies (documented; not confirmed in this browser) | Clarity and Microsoft browser identifiers, refresh and synchronization checks | |
| Adsterra / ad-unit browser storage; exact origins unverified | Advertising: provider-controlled storage | ||
| Google / YouTube player storage, only after play | Embedded video: provider-controlled storage | ||
| Host access logs | Cloudflare / planned hosting; configuration unverified | Page delivery and service protection |
Your choices and privacy requests
Use Reject in the banner, or reopen it through Cookie settings in the footer, to stop GA4, Clarity and Adsterra on the reloaded page. The choice lasts for 180 days in this site's logic when localStorage is available. Removing site storage also removes the choice; a later visit returns to the default enabled state unless a browser rejection signal is active.
Write to [email protected] with the page URL and your privacy question or request for access, correction or deletion. Emailing sends your address, message and any attachments to the site's contact inbox for handling and replies. A retention period for that correspondence has not been verified.
Requests concerning records held by Google, Microsoft, Adsterra or a hosting provider may also require that provider's request process. This page is updated when the site's providers, loading controls or verified storage details change; the date above identifies this version.
Questions
Do the analytics and ad scripts wait for me to press Accept?
No. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load on the first view. The banner is notice plus a withdrawal control: Reject turns those scripts off and stores the denial for 180 days.
Does Reject erase data already sent?
No. Reject stops the site's Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra loaders after the page reloads. It does not recall earlier requests, erase provider records or clear existing browser cookies. YouTube remains a separate, click-to-play service.
How do I stop the bottom bar coming back?
Press the Close sponsored bar button. That writes basm.adsterra_social_closed to localStorage and reloads without the Social Bar. The site honours that record for 180 days. This closes only the Social Bar; use Reject to turn off Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and both Adsterra units.
Are adult ads enabled?
No. The Adsterra website is recorded with adult ads off, and the site runs only Native Banner and Social Bar units.
